i am using Intel i3 and using a 450W smps.. i have purchase MSI N750ti graphics card..bu my friends said this graphics card not possible to 450W smps...its damged my ststem... is this true?

Your PSU has the capacity to support a GTX 750 Ti. What brand PSU is it?

Even if your PSU is strong enough, if it is not a reliable brand would recommend buying a new one (whether before or after you buy the card - preferably before).

A good cheap reliable PSU would be the EVGA 430W 80+. You can buy it pretty cheap at SuperBiiz (https://goo.gl/SjcY5W) or Newegg (https://goo.gl/1SxznW).
