Planning to assemble my first PC. Want to ask if the below configuration even compatible with each other or i need to change something?

PSU - Corsair VS450
HDD - WD blue 1TB 7200 RPM
Processor - intel i3 6100
Motherboard - MSI H110 motherboard (pro VH) LGA1151
RAM - DDR4 corsair vengeance/Kingston HyperX Fury Black Series 8GB
Graphic card - Zotac GTX 1060 3GB
Cabinet - White Circle epic gaming cabinet
LG SATA DVD Writer
Keyboard Mouse - Logitech Mk345

Solution

Agree 100%. This is not an overclocking CPU, so no reason to get a Z mothboard. Invest into a 6GB 1060, it is faster than the 3GB version, not because of the memory, but because it has more CUDA cores.

Make sure to try to use PCPartPicker when posting not required I don't think but makes things 100x easier.

#1 Grab a better PSU

#2 Grab a Z170 from Asus or the like.

#3 The LG drives are alright but as far as milage goes the $15-20 ASUS burner is a godsend.

Also, I'm assuming this is for gaming or? This is definitely a feasible build. A little rough but not to shabby good sir/ma'am.

Thanks!

If you'd like the Tom's to suggest a build around your expected usage, budget, and of course trying to factor future proofing/price to performance let us know the budget and intended usage in order as well as any country requirements for purchasing etc.

before I answer your question I would ask from what country are you from, as we know it limits certain products (india has shortage of high end PSU for example)

That's true, I was more or less thinking $40-50 more with better VRMs and m2 support x'D

At least I hope they're still $100+/- picked one up last week new for that. Think it was $105.99 taxes paid out the door or so. I'd have to check.

Thanks for your input. Which PSU do you suggest other than Corsair VS450? (Also I hope it is available in indian market - https://www.amazon.in/ )
