Poured water on a mechanical keyboard immediately unplugged it and turned upside down (the computer was off) on a towel what do I do next

Solution
Dont plug it in. Let it dry completely and take all the keys off as well. Then turn it upside down so the water can flow out, dont wrap it in a towel, just place it underneath it so it absorbs the humidity as you did already.

let it dry ?? if cherry keys maybe remove the key caps to help seems like you made the best right move to start now it on where the water got in to and luck when you fell its dry enough to try

some guys say take a hair dryer and blow around to help evaporate the water to sped things up ??? I think take your time to insure its all out and dry and it should be fine

I agree don't wrap it up like sealed in the towel let it air out
