very low fps on assassin's creed IV black flag with gt 730 4gb ddr3

why do I get low fps when playing this game? I play this game at 720p and I get 10-20 fps with very low settings, I tried lowering my resolution but still I get only 15-22. I am using hdmi cable why i get low fps? sorry for my bad english

I believe that maybe your CPU is causing a bottleneck, as you've stated that even adjusting your res. the FPS don't change.

I can believe that's because of all the water physics in the game? Maybe your CPU can't handle those and therefore is lagging out.

You will need an upgrade to run that and other games more smoothly.

Running a CPU that performs around low-end Core 2 Duo chips and a GPU in the niveau of a mid-range card from 2009 I wouldn't expect to much from a game released in 2013.

I would take a step back and play older or less demanding games like Half Life 2, the first two Bioshock games, and perhaps Skyrim. If you want to stay on the AC series I'd try the third game as you are barely over its minimum requirements.
