I am an Architect and I'm thinking of building my own PC,

Is the first pc that I´m building so i dont have a clue wich parts it needs. I'd like some advice on parts.

I will be doing some 3D Modeling, Rendering, Photo Editing Watching Movies, and Gaming

Here are the parts I've looked at so far:

- CPU.- Inter Core i5 7600 4.10ghz
- CPU COOLER .- Cooling.- Corsair H115i 104.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
- Mother Board: ASUS ROG Maximus IX Hero Z270 LGA1151 DDR4
- Memory.- Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600
- Storage.- Samsung 950 Series Pro - 256 Gb SSD PCIE
- Storage.- TOSHIBA 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB
- Power Supply.- Seasonic G Series 550w 80+ Gold
- Video Card.- Nvidia Quadro K1200 4gb Ddr5
- Or ASUS Geforce Gtx 1060 6gb Ddr5
- Monitor.- Asus PB287Q 28" LED LCD Monitor - 4K/UHD 3840x2160
- Optical Drive.- Pioneer USB 3.0 BD/DVD/CD Portable Burner Model BDR-XD05B
- Case.- Corsair Crystal 570X
- Case Fan.- SP120 RGB LED fans

A friend told me that it will be a good idea to put two video cards, but I don´t know if the two cards that I found are compatible.

Thanks for your help

You will get more preformance from an i7 with cheaper board and lower frequency ram then your current setup.
While your tasks may actually take advantage of higher freqency ram, the 8 threads of the i7 vs i5's 4 will make a MUCH larger difference.

Agreed to check bookmarks b/t the quadro vs a 1060.

First, you don't need a cooler for a CPU that can't be overclocked. The stock cooler is good enough.
Second, that is a very expensive board, that you won't be able to use, because your CPU is locked.
Third, I don't think the quadro is good, I think it's better to go with the 1060 here.(Not sure). You can't use both, of that I'm sure.
You don't need a 4K monitor, as that GPU can't run 4K games, and I don't think 4K is gonna help you in 3D Rendering.

The Quadro can game and will do much better in many rendering tasks but I am not familer with that quadro vs a GTX 1060. And Yes you can use both on a system at the same time Lakimens, the display can be hooked up to the 1060 while the quadro is used for render's or both the quadro and 1060 are used for renders
