I can't find much on it and nothing on if it will work or not.

I would suggest if you're going to do this buy from a place with a good return policy because there is a good chance it will not work. Also not only will you need the slot, you're going to need a PSU. Like I said $100 is a light budget for this.

eGPU and cheap don't belong in the same sentence, you need the eGPU slot, something to power it, the card, and a monitor. $100 is not gonna cut it.

Also it doesn't even work with all Laptop models. Have you confirmed it will even work?

As most users here have said there are a lot of issues, most external GPU enclosures have specific requirements to connect to a laptop. Also most of those enclosures have a price of $150-250 without the card.

I got one of the EXP GDC eGPU setups to tinker with and a dell da-2, was $50 together. I had a 750TI from another pc to try with, and have not bought a case. I have a Dell N7110 that while white listed and unable to boot with the card connected, I did manage to install and run it. Boot the laptop, close the lid to sleep the pc, then connect the cable to the egpu, then open the lid. I got a 2nd cable and tried expresscard with a Lenovo, but that would not even see a card installed.

Not just any laptop can do this and there are many hoops to jump through to get one working. And the x1 (gen2 on my sandybridge laptop) link will hinder performance especially using the link to display over the internal LCD, though the upgrade is oodles better than IGP or the 525m in my dell. This really wont take off until Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C (x4 gen3 link) are way more common and laptop makers don't whitelist that connection.

Ok I see that version that has the power adaptor. I wouldn't run anything high powered off that. That unit alone is $73, then maybe a GTX 1050 you can get under $100. Like I said make sure they have a good return policy because this may not work.
