Hey!

I'm kinda new to PC's and stuff, and I am building my first Gaming PC ever. And I decided to go ith the Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P Mobo, cause I will be getting the i5-7500 CPU. Something I was wondering is if I need a wireless adapter for my motherboard? I read something about Gigabit LAN, but I have no clue on what that is, so it would be nice if someone could help me out here.

Thanks!

An ethernet cable is WAY better then wifi. If your router is in the same room (or if you are forinate enough to have ethernet drops in your home) then that is greatly prefered over wifi.

If not then using a powelrine network adapter would actually be bette then wifi for gaming purposes.
Mbps wise there are too many factors to say one is better then the other, but for games ping/latency matters way more and that is for sure better with powerline (or anything not wireless).
