So I decided to try and install some shaders and resource packs into my minecraft because i really liked how they looked in the videos i watched. However when i started trying to use and configure the shaders i get like a huge framerate decrease and then when i run the resourse pack my framerate only drops even more. I have tried SEUS, KUDA Shaders, and Super Shaders and get the same result with all of them. I have no clue what framerate vanilla mincraft runs at on my PC because i usually mod my game before playing anyways. I always start with just Forge, LiteLoader and OptiFine and then some other small mods (treechopper, BetterCombat, and minimap with waypoints). With just that my game will run smooth around 60 FPS. Now when i start using any of the shaders i mentioned above my framerate will immediately drop to around 15-20 FPS with the shaders just on medium quality. When i run a resource pack i lose about another 5 FPS. No amount of changing setting for the shaders will get my framerate to increase and stabilize. I even tried installing the BetterFPS mod and dont think that it did much. Is there anything im doing wrong or anything i could try differently to get my framerate up because i absolutely love how the game looks with shaders, its just pretty much unplayable and id rather play my minecraft then just load my world, point my character at something and then just stare at it

Currently Installed Mods:
Forge
LiteLoader
OptiFine HD
Xaeros Minimap
TreeChopper
DynamicLights
DamageIndicators
BetterFPS
BetterFoliage
BetterCombat

Shaders I've tried:
KUDA Shaders
SEUS
Super Shaders
(Ive tried changing the settings to lower and didnt get much difference)

Resource Packs i use:
BorderCraft
ChromaHills
(both were changed slightly by me to be used with minecraft 1.11)

Ah yeah your PC is a bit to weak for all of that. What does dynamic lights do that dynamic lighting in optifine doesn't? I am using a 4790k + gtx 1070 with only optifine w/ shaders and it only gets 30 - 40 FPS in most areas. I imagine it is a slideshow on your PC. It is mostly the graphics card you need for shaders. It wasn't until I got a GTX 970 that I was able to play with shaders and even then it wasn't the best experience.

The only thing you can do really is go into optifine and force a low resolution. 1280x720 might be playable but it will look like garbage on a 1080p monitor.

I already have Optifine HD cause i believe that shaders actually require it to be installed. But i will also try FastCraft and hope for a performance increase

FastCraft is not available for minecraft 1.11 (which is what im using) and it specifically says that Optifine HD is better. The page also recommends BetterFPS Mod which i already have installed and it doesnt seem to be doing much

Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 OC'd to 3.66GHz
GTX 750 Ti OC Edition OC'd (Core clock +200 MHz, Memory clock +300MHz in MSI Afterburner)
8GB DDR2 800MHz RAM
Asus P5Q-VM

Of all those parts in my current PC, what could possibly be causing my inability to run shaders

I tried allocating 4GB of RAM for minecraft and all that did was make the game load a bit faster

I have tried using SEUS, KUDA Shaders and Super Shaders

Although I've read that apparently SEUS works better on AMD GPUs cause the people that develop and test SEUS use AMD GPUs. Ive read some articles that say that an AMD card that is lower end than my GTX 750 Ti should be able to run the shader just fine without too big of a performance hit

I guess i kind of forgot that OptiFine HD already has dynamic lighting so i guess ill just delete dynamic lights then

The lite version only gives me a slight performance increase. Like only a few FPS. Guess i might be fucked for running shaders till i do my next PC buiild then which sucks cause if its my GPU then i just bought the GTX 750 Ti im using and cant afford to go buy a better card just to play minecraft. Especially when i can run like all of my games on High/Ultra graphics settings

Its super crazy actually. Who ever would have thought that a PC would need like a $350+ GPU just to play minecraft with shaders so it doesnt look like absolute shit. Dont get me wrong, theres nothing wrong with vanilla minecraft... Except theres everything wrong with it at the same time when you know that the game can look so much better

you can always use a texture pack like sphax

Here is a pic I just took. This is just vanilla with shaders + faithful texture pack. (image isnt showing for me so here is a link: http://i.imgur.com/dafzeuu.jpg)

Yeah... 55 FPS looking at nothing. Straight up at the sky it gets 85 FPS. This is at 1440p though.

One more thing you can do is turn the draw distance way down. I had to turn mine down a bit to get rid of some annoying FPS drops.

So i have been lookng around for other shaders that might work for me. I used Chocapic13 for a bit and that was ok. But i noticed in your picture there that you're using Sildurs Vibrant Shaders, so i decided to download that and give it a try and its very very similar to the Chocapic13 Shaders, except a bit more stable. Im still only getting like 15-20 FPS but thats atleast playable. Im also using the BorderCraft Resource pack so if i wanted more FPS i could just disable that. The BorderCraft resource pack isnt exactly for the version of minecraft im using (its for 1.8 and im using 1.11) but i edited it a bit to work with 1.11 and i feel like it works ok other than some random textures missing here and there. I went and double checked my settings last night and turns out I had fps limiting turned on. When set to 'unlimited' I am getting 90+ FPS in the same scene. Getting 80+ while playing vanilla with those shaders and draw distance at 16.

I don't remember why I did that but since it is a recently created world, prolly so the terrain would generate faster.

I think that to really just solve my problem i need a card with more shaders :p cause ive tried all that i can in the game setting and unless i decrease the render quality I cant get any higher than like 20 FPS but if i decrease in then the graphics quality starts to go
