RAM overclocking on Pentium

Hey all,

Just doing some finishing touches on my HPTC build, and there is a question I'd like to ask before commiting.

Assuming that I am using a motherboard that supports RAM OC (for example, Z270N-Wifi), and a pair of DDR4-3000 RAM, is there any reasonable expectation to expect a G4560 chip to be able to handle DDR4 at that speed?

I was suggested that instead of pairing a H270N-Wifi with a pair of DDR4-2400 G.Skill Aegis, I could go with Z270N-Wifi and DDR4-3000 instead. I would easily have considered the latter if I was using a better CPU than G4560, but for what I would be using the HTPC for, I don't have a lot of justification to go above that CPU, even in the future (unless Netflix decides to exclude Pentiums from their 4k streams).

I can get my hands on a pair of Dual channel Aegis DDR4-2400 for about $80, and DDR4-3000 Crucial Ballistix Tactical would cost around $120, plus $20 extra for the mobo to support the 3000 RAM.
