Settings up RAID

Hi all, I have a SSD as my windows 10 boot device, along side that I have 2 identical 1TB HDDs which I mainly store my games on. I'm interested in running them in RAID 0, how can I do this without messing with my boot device? Will the extra speed be beneficial or should I just extend the volume across both drives with jb windows? Also, does RAID at all shorten drive life span? Thanks for all your help :)

Yes you can improve the read/write if your TWO 1TB as RAID 0, but do not use Mobo RAID, that the last thing I would use, because the RAID drivers of Mobo. You may not able to migrate to a newer Mobo or transfer to a newer system.
On top of that, when you change the Mobo to RAID mode your system SSD drive wont able to boot... That is another issue!

a) Use a simple HW raid 0 (fast and cheap)

b) Use Disk Manager to create a pair of Dynamic Disk and RAID 0 for your TWO 1TB...

Two HDDs for game drives in RAID-0 are not going to make a dramatic load-time difference at all. The motherboard manual does have instructions though:

If you don't have a backup device to store system images/backups and file history on.....it would be a much better use for one of the drives. That way if your C-drive ever goes down, restoring is simple.
