we just finished putting together this computer and when we booted it for the first time, the fans and led turned on fine there was just no display or beep. we tried taking out the gpu and still have the same code, unplugging and replugging some cables and still same code, re installing the ram, still same code, even starting with no ram in and we didnt get a beep code. running out of ideas on what it can be, can anyone help?

Solution
"i think we tried that but didnt work, but probably didnt do it right. how do we do it correctly"

Download the latest version from https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO/HelpDesk_Download/
Unzip and rename the file from MAXIMUS-VIII-HERO-ASUS-3101.CAP to M8H.CAP
Save the renamed file on a FAT 32 formatted USB drive.
Connect the drive to the designated Flashback port (check the board's manual for its location).
Don't start the power supply, just make sure that it's connected and on.
Press the Flashback button for 3 secs.
Wait until the process ends (more than 10 secs).
