help with asus z270h

i have asus z270h motherboard it says it has usb type c reversible.. what does that mean? my phone is usb type c and has small sonnector but i can see any small enough sockets in back,,does that mean i can just plug it into the red usb ports which it says are usb type c reversible?

It just means that you can plug a usb type c cable without looking whether it is in the correct orientation unlike type A.
Your motherboard does not have usb type c ports.

Ok thanks... My phone is 3.1 type c I was thinking I could charge my phone from it... I guess not... Unless I had 3.0 one end and 3.1 the other end but my cable is 3.1 on both end... Thanks for your help anyway

The 3.0(3.1 gen 1) and 3.1(3.1 gen 2) are about the speed/bandwidth. The type c and type a is about the connector used.
