I saw a really good deal on Q9650 processor, Asus P5P41T LE Motherboard LGA775 Socket and 4gb ram bundle.

I searched and that was the only lga 775 motherboard available in the area.

I was worried if that motherboard would run gtx 1050 (not ti).

Please help. I don't know anything about motherboards.

Solution
System performance wise, the i5 650+H55 will perform better than the Q9650+G41 combo.
Compatibility wise, I believe UEFI adoption started with some 60 series MBs and in full with the 70 Series boards, so I'd say not much improvement on chance of being compatible with the GTX 1050.

Latest gen card from either nVidia or AMD could refuse to work with the BIOS and demand an UEFI one instead.
This is unfortunately only known after the fact, so make sure to confirm the return policies of the shops/sellers before committing your money to a purchase.

Thank you for the advice.

There is another option to buy Core i5-650 (with HSF), DH55TC motherboard and 4gb ram for the same price (around 100$).

Would this setup be better as the motherboard is LGA 1156 socket.
