Just switched out my old 760 msi gpu for an asus 1060. Installed it all fine and okay. I did a test boot on the table and all fans booted (no display connected). Then took it upstairs to plug in all externals etc. But only the psu and hdd booted. Everything else dead.

Does it still run well with the old gpu?

Might be good to know all parts of the pc,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it=click run,
close the top window which is the system summary,
at the left top click "save report",
at the bottom of the next window check "short text report",
after that you'll see what's in the pc,
copy by clicking "copy to clipboard" and rightclick+paste in your next respons
an easy way for that. It's also a good monitoring tool. Can be done by clicking "sensors" at the left top or,

download hwinfo32,
install and open it,
check "sensors-only",
click "run".
No need to download again, but have these on file. ;)

I just saw that :welcome: ;)

Did you try the clear cmos? can be done by removing the motherboard battery for about 5min and put it back in. Make sure to disconnect the pc totally from the power first, means take the cable out of the wallsocket.

Clearing the "cmos" makes the bios go to default values.

Was trying to figure that out.:) Other thing might be the psu just gave in when changing the gpu's.

You did nothing else but changing the gpu? Didn't touch anything else by accident?

Does the motherboard have a display output?
Do you know what cpu you use? If it has an igp, which is an integrated gpu, could you try that, see if that gives a picture.
