modem user interface problem

so i connected a tp-link router to my modem through an Ethernet cable and every since then my isp modem 192.168.1.1 user interface has turned into the tp-link user interface i can't get rid of it even with factory reset after i disconnected the tp-link any help would be appreciated since the isp won't help me if the problem is caused by me :/

It shouldn't be possible to see the TP-Link's GUI unless you still have it powered on, and it wouldn't be possible for it to change the firmware of your modem simply by connecting it to your network.

Unfortunately it seems you'll need to have your ISP troubleshoot the modem or replace it altogether.

Normally a modem with an interface of 192.168.1.1 is actually a modem + router (does it have multiple LAN ports and/or wifi?).

If that's the case, you should configure the TP-Link to work as an access point and change the LAN IP address to something outside of the DHCP range. For most TP-Links, 192.168.1.10 should work.

If for some reason you want to maintain a two-router configuration (double NAT), then you would need to change the the LAN IP address of the TP-Link to a subnet different from the modem (or vice versa). E.g. 192.168.2.1

to answer your first question yes it does the thing is i really don't want to use the tp-link anymore i just wanna fix the main modem interface since it was changed for the tp-link interface even tho it is not connected anymore I'm shitting bricks thinking that i damaged the main modem firmware some how

It's doubtful that you've done anything to the main modem to damage it. If your browser is still showing the TP-Link interface even when disconnected, it's likely that you just need to clear your browser's webpage cache.

already done that still the same i also tried on my phone and laptop and even installed a whole new browser nothing changed :/
