Black Wires - Which is + or -

Quick question... always had wires in colour, but on the new case all wiring is black.

Is the wire with the white/grey stripe on it + or -? for the power switch, reset, hdd, etc...

1. Check the info here... the striped wires are supposed to be (+)positive and unmarked wires are (-) negative.

Check that info with how the regular colored wires on your old case were connected to the mobo header... in any case, on both power and reset switches, the order of + and - wires doesn't matter... the switch just closes the circuit momentarily and power doesn't care what color the wire is..

2. As for the LED wires the only possible outcome is it may not light up but no damage should be expected... in such case, just reverse the wires.

Thanks... I figured + was striped, but wanted to make sure since although for LEDs and such not a big deal, it's a pain in the butt to rearrange all those little wires after everythings been installed into the PC. :D

How about in terms or power/ground... would that be striped/black?

You mean the same case power button or motherboard power connectors?
• For power and reset buttons, I already covered that (in case you missed it)
• For motherboard power, the wires should already be prearranged in their connectors...
