computer randomly turns off during games

My computer randomly turns off when im playing a game, it doesnt show anything just goes to black and everything is off, i just built this pc too. it runs games fine gpu stays around 70c when playing and cpu doesnt go above 40c. but randomly itll just turn off. pc was fine for 5 days it just started today.

MSI 1080 Gaming x 8g, i7 6700k, msi z170a krait gaming 3x, 16 gb ddr4 3000mhz, EVGA SuperNOVA 650, Windows 10 pro.

It could be do to one or a combinations of the following reasons:

-Thermals are getting too hot
-Your PSU is not sufficient enough for the system
-Something may be shorting out the PC (such as a screw, or a motherboard without using the standoffs)
