motherboard: gigabyte ga-78lmt-usb3
Gpu: 1070 r7 360
psu: cx750m

just bought a gtx 1070 an upgrade from an r7 360. Having issues installing it. plugged everything in and connected it all to the motherboard plugged my hdmi cable into the 1070 and got a no signal on the monitor. So i figured i would try to use the on board graphics on the motherboard and still got a no signal. i download the drivers for the 1070 and went to install them but couldnt find any hardware due to it not being plugged in but as i previously said when plugged in i get no signal. ive been at this for 4 hours and cant find anything to help me.

sounds like you could have fried something during the installation if the onboard graphics arent working either

Have you tried taking the card out and then trying to run on the onboard?

Get a replacement card

Run Display driver uninstaller. I was benching a AMD and nV GPU the other day and had an issue where the remnants of the AMD GPU were preventing the nV GPU from being recognized and outputting to the display. I removed the driver using DDU and I got a display output after reboot. I was then able to install the nV driver properly and move on with testing.
