So I just moved my parts out of the case. I already connected everything but now I'm left off with a bunch of case connectors that need to go into my mobo. I've already connected the HDD LED, POWER and RESET connector. But now I still have like 10 more connectors (GND, USB1, USB2, SPEAKER, LEFT EAR, RIGHT EAR etc...) Do I need to connect all of them since I won't be using my case for anything else I just need to boot up my PC. I will also use mobo USB ports to connect my keyboard, mouse etc...

Here is a pic that might help you out if you don't know what i'm talking about http://imgur.com/a/2xQFJ

Thanks in advance

The Power SW is all you need. You can hold the power for a few seconds to shut down so Reset isn't required.

If your not using the front Earphone cable that's not required. Same goes for USB. Tuck it all out of the way behind the motherboard tray to improve airflow in the case. The USB might be nice if you ever want to plug in a USB stick without having to reach behind the case.

Oh ok thank you so much. One more thing though there are 3 sysfan connectors on my motherboard but I have only 1 cable that goes into sysfan connector. So should I plug it in sysfan 1, 2 or 3. I'm new to this so I'm so sorry for dumb questions.

Do not plug that cable from the psu into motherboard.

Many power supplies have a cable marked fan for powering fans. Some power supplies have a cable you can plug into the fan header on the motherboard so you can monitor it's RPMs only, but not power it. You don't want to accidentally plug a power cable from the power supply into the power out of the fan header on the motherboard. Power out and power in together = smoke.

The picture isn't clear so it's hard to say what cable it is. If you give us the brand and model of power supply it's easy to look up what cables it has.

Sorry for such a late response. I thought that the cable that I've posted pictures of was meant to be plugged in sysfan port ?

If the cable is labeled sysfan then it's made to power up fans directly that cannot be plugged into the motherboard. If you run out of fan headers on the motherboard you can use the power supply cables.

The only way that connector would plug to the motherboard is if it didn't have all 4 wires going into it. It would just have the wires for RPM detection, but not for power. If that connector has all 4 wires it has 12V and I wouldn't plug it into the motherboard unless you want to release smoke.
