HDD not getting recognized. Please Help If You Can

Ok so I bought a seagate 1tb hdd and when I plugged it in I tried to see if it was in the bios and it wasn't so than when I loaded windows I checked the disk management and it said it was "unknown" and "not initialized"

Must be faulty or the sata cable is.. Try another port or cable

If the bios doesnt detect it then nothing else will

Also check that the sata port isnt disabled. Some bios's have the option of disabling/enabling them

I love you!!! I tried 3 different port and non worked but finally one did thanks!!!! :)

Oh. I dont know its weird but I should be fine, dont think I'll be installing any new hard drive
