Hello all,

I am looking for a build that is between the cost of $2500 - $3000. I will be using this system to program many languages but the language I will use the most will be ROS. I will also be using this system to run max settings on Arma 3.

I'm not recommending Ryzen at the moment due to availability / lack of benchmarks but once those start coming I will definitely do that. But for now here's what I would suggest:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($347.12 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: CRYORIG A80 128.0 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($135.81 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus MAXIMUS IX HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($217.98 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill TridentZ RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($159.99 @ Newegg)
