Hi PC guys, console gamer here, I am thinking of upgrading to a ps4 pro because I hear it can do 4k, well the problem is I only see a handful of games doing 4k, and I have a question to ask, I have the option. Of buying a PC with a gtx PC with a gtx 1070, or a ps4, and I have a question, will ps4 ever reach the point of 4k 60fps? Because I looked at the benchmarks of the 1070 and it is great at 1440p but not so good at 4k, am I cheating myself in buying a 1070? And will fallout 4, doom, ect ever be 4k 60fps on ps4?

Well if you want my personal opinion I've always been a PC guy so I would def go for 1070.
But not long ago they have announced that 4k is coming in the near future for many games like Fallout 4 and doom. Yes games will eventually do and upgrade to 4k just give them some time.
There is not a huge price difference but there are some amazing deals where you can get a ps4 1TB for 300$ which is quite nice.

I'd say if you want 4K, the PC with the GTX 1070 will do a better job of getting there. PS4 Pro has 4K support with a huge asterisk beside it, namely that pretty much everything that isn't a remaster of a last gen game or a sports title doesn't natively run at 4K, but only runs at something like 1800p with either straight upscaling or checkerboard upscaling. Straight upscaling looks blurry on a 4K TV and checkerboarding looks almost as good as native, provided the image is relatively still, in fast paced titles the pixels change too quickly for the predictive algorithm to work well and you get poor results. The 1070 is faster than the PS4 Pro's GPU so it will do better in native 4K, though results aren't great if you want 60FPS without severely cutting back on the eyecandy.
4K 60FPS won't ever happen on PS4 Pro outside of indie titles and maybe some remasters of last gen games. Sony would have to release a new console or a PS4 Pro 2.0 with an even faster GPU for 4K 60FPS to be possible, the PS4 Pro just doesn't have the hardware for 4K 60FPS. Micorosoft is releasing a new console late this year, the Xbox Scorpio which is apparently is going to have a GPU closer to the GTX 1070, and that might be able to do native 4K more consistently, but most of the time it would still likely be at 30FPS. Maybe that will get Sony to release something more powerful, we'll have to see how well the Scorpio does.
