Hi everyone

I have PC for school and light gaming with the specs:

CPU - FX-6300
Cooler - DeepCool (I don't know the model)
MB - M5A78L-M LX V2
RAM - 4GB DDR3 x2 (Just normal, not gaming)
GPU - MSI GTX 750Ti TWIN FROZR Edition
HDD - 320GB
PSU - Numan 400W
Case - P4 Computer Case (literally a metal box)

A month or so ago, when I booted, I received a message stating that the motherboard had detected a power surge and shut down. I opened the case, checked the connectors and rebooted, which went smooth. However, more recently, when I was playing The Crew (All visual settings High, 30FPS), I noticed a few frames dropped here and there. Also, I heard one of the fans buzzing. I guessed that there must be a heat or dust buildup, due to the poor quality of the case. So now I'm in the market for a PSU, and if possible, a case as well. I know that included PSU's aren't the best quality, but I saw this case the other day, which seems to have a decent PSU.

So, I'm looking for a decent PSU under $60, but I'm willing to pay more for a good case as well (No more than $100 together)

Sorry for the long message; just wanted to put as much detail as possible.

Thanks in advance.

According to this review, it isn't bad at all:
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Silverstone/ST50F-ES/

According to tier lists, it is a tier 3 power supply:
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

What tier 3 means is that they're safe and stable to use unless you plan on pushing the wattage limits of it or overclocking your system

Something like this would be a better choice:

but I am not sure how much the price difference would be where you're at.

For the case, I'd keep what you personally have and buy a nice case come next upgrade time. :)

I see. What about something like this:

It doesn't look promising, but I'm not a hardcore gamer, I just want to keep my parts safe.
