Can my motherboard handle this GTX?

Hello! im thinking about buying a gtx 1060 but don't know if my motherboard can handle it because the motherboard is kinda old :p if you need the gtx that im wanna buy here is it Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce 2X OC HDMI DP 2xDVI 6GB and the website is: https://www.komplett.se/product/895857/datorutrustning/grafikkort/pci-express/gigabyte-geforce-gtx-1060-6gb-windforce# its in swedish but i think you can translate it and my specs currently is old i have never ever upgraded my computer first time its custom built here is my specs Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83GHz
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
RAM: 8.0 GB
Motherboard: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P5Q SE2 (LGA775)
Or do i need a new motherboard?

yes, your current setup is too old and under powered for a 1060


 
it does not end with CPU.
for a new CPU you are going to need a new motherboard and RAM.
Since you are upgrading from very old system, it makes sense to check the PSU (power supply) as well.
For a almost new system, it's logical to go with modern parts like 6th or 7th gen i5 or i7

I'm 15 only and i asked my dad if he knew about computers he built this one but he isn't the best at it he said something about if you change the core Windows for "Piracy" I dont understand. do you guys?
