Hi! I'm new to PC building, and I just finished my first build last month. It's here: (https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/7B9rPs) and I built it using mostly used parts. Notably, my water cooling was bought used, and while it keeps my temperatures low usually, the fans are annoyingly loud, and I don't know how long the old owner had it for.

I'm not sure if I should be looking into a new AIO, or just replacing the fans .What I'm looking for is a lot of Overclocking potential, but also a lot of quiet. Airflow is also a consideration; my case is a mini itx Fractal Design Core 500. I don't really have a budget, but ideally I'm not trying to spend more than 100-110$ on a new cooler if necessary. Thank you if you can help!

Solution
the noise, if it comes from the fans,, well, replace the fans, but if the noise comes from the pump itself, well, you will have to change it to get rid of the noise

Is the cpu cooler connected to cpu_fan port on the motherboard?
If not make sure it is, otherwise the cooler could go on full throttle all the time.

Hey guys. Sorry for the late reply, but I sort of ended up just getting another water cooler. I now have a corsair h75 and I changed my case to a Thermaltake Core V1, and the fans are dead silent. (I also have a cheap Arctic F8 fan at the back). I was able to mess around with some BIOS and Qfan Control (ASUS program) settings and now the fans aren't audible unless I'm gaming. I still need to buy another 80mm fan, but my temperatures are pretty good now as well (They never go above 70 and usually are around 30-40).

Thanks for trying to help though!
