can u stack 2 psu's on top of each other

can u stack 2 psus on top of each other.not can i run them stacked can i physically put one on top of the other? im going to use a 1000 w for my mb and another just to power 6 fans and a graphic panel nothing to do with mb just a power to do lighting and stuff i want to do in my case mod. is there any reason i cant stack them both in my empty bay space and feed both cords out the rear of the machine?

actually if you trim the black and a yellow wire s jacket away you can add a switch (im going to use a pilot switch) to act like the pcs motheboard for power on off. since it wont be connected to the mb at all just used as a power supply to run fans (6) and a custom plate im making with logo and words light up with a outside rgb light bars . it will work. look on youtube if you dont believe me. have a great day.

the link you supplied is speaking of using 2 psus stacked in conjunction with each other. so a 500watt and a 500 watt effectually bridging them into one power supply. thats stacking in a different sense.

In the physical sense of 'stacking', you can do whatever your case and DIY skills allow.
The one on top, of course, will be sucking in air from the case....not optimal.

Unless you put them sideways, with the air intake in the side panel.
