Hello friends!
After a faulty OC (3.6 in stock voltage, idk why i even tried) i tried last week, my pc has been posting, and then instantly turning off again. When i did the faulty oc i got into windows once, i checked cpu-z and noticed my q6600 had returned to 2,4ghz. Then i turned the pc off and tried to get into the bios, wich i could not. After that i tried resetting cmos (pulled out battery atleast 10 times)
Tried the reset jumpers. And used diffrent cpu, psu. And confirmed my q6600 was still working by putting it in another machine. By that i figurd my mobo was probs dead, somehow. Picked up a new one today and still. beeps, and then turns off again, im out of ideas!

Specs and parts i used
Asus p5kpl-vm / Asus p5n32-e sli
Q6600 / Q7xxx / E6550
4x gb mixed ram (also tried one stick)
Asus 750ti / intergrated gpu

Had similar problem. Take ram out. Clean it carefully. Use canned air to blow in ram slots (please do now just blow in them). Hope this helps. (Also unplug PSU, hold power button for 1 min, restart)
