I am trying to run two external monitors off my laptop(Toshiba Satellite s855-s5378 Windows 8) from the HDMI and VGA ports. the monitor running off my HDMI works perfectly. I am Using a J5 VGA to HDMI adapter (video +audio) for the third monitor. the display settings see's the third monitor connected but will not display to it. I have already tried restarting and re-extending all the displays and still have the same results.

I took the part back and got the closes thing i could find to what you recommended. http://www.microcenter.com/product/440676/VGA2HDU_VGA_to_HDMI_Adapter_with_USB_Audio_-_Power_-_Portable_VGA_to_HDMI_Converter_1080p
so far it seems to work so there must have been something malfunctioning with the other part. thank you for your help!
