CPU Driven Onboard Graphics

I was wondering if Onboard graphics (graphics that come with the motherboard) are driven by the cpu, if so, if i get a gpu, will my cpu usage go down?

CPUs generally come with a built on graphics processor. This is separate from the cpu cores. It shouldn't have a impact on the CPU load directly. The motherboard simply dictates whether it's compatible with iGPU or not.

A GPU would greatly improve the performance of your system overall, since it's a truly dedicated graphics processor.
