Replacing aftermarket CPU cooler fan - SilentiumPC Fera 3 HE1224

Hello everybody, I would like to know if its safe to replace fan that comes with this CPU cooler : SilentiumPC Fera 3 HE1224 with this fan : Cooler Master Silencio FP 120 PWM . If not then could you please give me some alternatives ? Thanks in advance for your answers :)

Yes. The fans that come with CPU coolers are easily swappable, as they very easily clip on and off of the cooler. You are fine to switch the stock fan with any other aftermarket fan that you wish, just make sure the aftermarket fan is the same size as the fan that came with the cooler, such as a 80mm, 120mm, or 140mm.

That being said, your personal selection of cooler and fan should work perfectly fine together.

I know about the size having to be same as the original fan, I was concerned about other parameters being the risk factor here. Should have specified it in the question, sorry :( .
