Yes it is supported. Next time, before "having a look around" just go to the OEM site> Find your motherboard> click support> look for CPU support (in some sites it is in the spec sheet or under Devices and sometime under QVL)
If your motherboard BIOS version number is greater than the BIOS version listed above, then you will not need to flash your BIOS. However, if your BIOS version is smaller than the version listed above, then you will need to select and
download the latest BIOS to update your system.

Updating your Bios
First of all you should be able to update the Bios from you Motherboard's UEFI go to Tools> EZFlash> select by internet or by USB. Follow the instructions.
Looking at the specs in the Asus website I can also see it has USB Flashback. So technically even if you screw up your bios as long as you have a USB flashdrive with the bios inside of it you can flash the bios using this button.
Labeled... *drum roll* Bios
You gotta plug in the Flashdrive into the USB slot nearby with the words "USB bios flashback"
This is what it looks like on my Asus ROG Viii Hero
For how to use it read your manual... It might be different from mine, but here is mine.
