I went to a convention and the national guard was handing out usb sticks, i took one, got home the drive has two partitions. One I can read and write to, the other i can only read. I formatted the stick, made sure it was still fat32 and I still can't write to the second partition, I just get "The disk write is protected" when trying to format the partition.
Is there a way to delete the extra partition from the drive?
This is what it looks like http://imgur.com/a/qMibr
Edit: I just thought of diskpart and tried seeing if the drive is write protected and diskpart is saying no, so I know that its only talking about the writable partition but I don't believe I can select the other partition because it is not listed in the List Disk command. Any ideas?
Edit two: I managed to select the read only volume in disk part and its format is FAT not FAT32 and when i try to format it in diskpart it says the file system is not compatible.
