2 Laptops with win 7 home premium

Hello all,

I have been requested by the wife to install boot camp on her Mac pro. I am wondering if I can use the win7 product key from 1 of my dead HP laptops that came with win7 pre-installed.

2nd question is it a better option to buy win10 and do they have a multiple licence upgrade package.

As a Microsoft Registered Refurbisher, I have to tell you, You will not be able to use the HP license, as it will only activate on an HP laptop. you will need a full retail version for the COA to activate on a Mac. If you want to do Windows 10 instead, as Windows 7 is getting harder to acquire licensing for, getting Multiple licenses is not easy- Microsoft works 1 license per machine. so if you have 3 laptops, you need to buy 3 licenses. The Microsoft Volume licensing is usually reserved for enterprise users who need 10+ licenses at a time.
