Very Odd, Unidentifiable Noise From My New PC

My PC is making a low pitched buzzing noise. It sounds like the kind of noise an old light would make when you turn it on. The strange part is when I hold my hand against the PC and apply force (my pc is against a wall, so pushing it would make it hit the wall) the noise stops. This certainly can't be coil whine... Could my (bad) cable management be interfering with the HDD or PSU under the shroud, causing a noise? I can't seem to find any cases of this online!

I agree, first step should be to listen inside the case.

@deadlyxdemise Just don't do what I did and get your hair caught up in the CPU cooler. Those things spin with some force. Needless to say, it didn't feel very good.

Yeah, having an AIO... My CPU cooler is not on my list of possible culprits.

You sure about that? Knowing my luck, I'd find a way to get caught up in the fans on the radiators.

Also, what case do you have? Does it have any anti-vibration features where the hard drives mount?

It's a Phanteks Eclipse P400 Tempered Glass Edition. It's a bit budget oriented, so it does not have any anti-vibration features. HOWEVER, the noise persisted when I moved it away from the wall... But when I opened it up, the noise could not be heard. This makes me even more suspicious that it may have something to do with my atrocious cable management job in the back interfering with the something in the back, the rear cover does not slide on easily, i have to force it, squishing cables into parts.

I've redone cable management, back panel closed smoothly... So far no noise. Thanks for all the help!

Always be careful with cable management.

Here's the short version of why I now have a large scar on my hand. I ignored the sharp little corners behind the motherboard tray and shoved a bunch more cables back there than I should have and forced the back panel into place. When I turned on the power supply, nothing appeared to go wrong. When I reached for the power button, it gave me a hearty shock that literally gave me chest pains. Turns out one of the little sharp corners had cut into a power cable and that power ended up shorting to the case and that's how I got shocked. It also ruined the ground for all devices that rely on the case for this. Most of the hardware was ruined.
