Seems wrong unless the chipset is really hot. Check your chipset heatsink temp by touch. Could be a bad sensor or driver.
If it's a new motherboard you may want to RMA. You may need direct cooling. Try a case side fan aimed at the chipset.
i dont know what any of that means but all i ask is should i get a new motherboard?? or should i get a new case?? i have the rog g20 case which is pretty small and my gpu takes up alot of space in it
I've personally modded the chipset cooler on almost every motherboard I've bought. I usually put a bigger heatsink in place of the stock one. Just give me a peace of mind because most chipsets seem to run hotter than almost all other components on my system.
First though... are you sure the thing is really getting as hot as this indicates? I've seen some software read temps wrong.
See the copper looking heatsink to the left of the memory slots in the image? Put you finger on it and see if it's burning hot. If it's just a bit warm while reading the temp you may have a bad sensor. If it's burning hot RMA for sure but just kind of war your call.
