I recently bought a vga to dvi for my PC and whenever I put the cable in the screen blacks out and the only way to restore it is take the wire out and then restart the PC? I bought a second one thinking it was faulty but the exact same thing happened? I don't understand! I have an Asus GTX 970 4GB and the wire goes from the DVI to the VGA in the monitor.
