Hi
How to open the case without to break it, there are no visible srews ?
Suddenly the drive shorts the 5 V voltage of the 4 usb ports on the back of an desk top. Disconnecting the usb cable and turn off/on the desk top it restores power on the usb ports.
Any suggestions to fix the problem are very appreciated.

Sorry to hear about the problems you're experiencing with your drive.

I'd recommend against opening the external enclosure as this will void the drive's warranty.
You could try the HDD with a different USB cable and a different computer, to see if the same thing happens. It would be nice if you could try a different external HDD with those USB ports as well.
If you're able to get any computer to recognize the drive, I'd suggest that you download DLG (Data Lifeguard Diagnostic) to check the drive's SMART status: Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows.

Please let me know if you need to recover data from that drive.
