Boot Options Not Working

When I start my computer up I have to press f12 to pick boot device but my computer seems to be ignoring my commands. It also does not take the command to enter bios which is delete for my motherboard. I have tried holding it from the very point of turning it on and I have also tried spamming the commands but neither seem to work. The weird thing is it did not have this problem on a different Hard Drive that runs Windows 8. But this new hard drive and Windows ten seems to have presented this problem. So we can assume its not the motherboard but something to do with the hard drive correct?

Did you install windows 10 on this computer or you took hdd out of some other pc?

TheGTX1080SUX :

My motherboard is a gigabyte z170x and I am running windows 10. What is really concerning is when I boot up my motherboard ignores my command to choose boot device which is f12 and also ignore my request to go to bios which is delete for the command it as if my keyboard isn't even plugged in but it is and the weirder thing is it didnt always do this things like different hard drives and OS change whether or not the computer will listen to my request for these two things. LIke for example when I was on windows 8 it only did this with one other hard drive but now it ignores me everytime on windows 10 so it would seem it is not the motherboard but I decided this might be a good place to start looking for suggestions. And yes I have tried holding it down from power on and spamming f12...so what the heck?
