So i've had these 2x4gb Hyperx Fury 2133MHz in my pc for a year or two, and i figured it was probably time i threw in some more RAM, as i am good on graphics and cpu.
So i bought a pair from the German Amazon, as they were cheaper and the same model as my current. But now when i put them in, with my "old" RAM. i get blue screen...
My "old" RAM: http://
Just bought RAM: http://

If links doesn't work, i'll be happy to provide translated screenshots.

From what i can see (on a amatuer level) they're the same.
But when i go into ZMemory in my BIOS (Using MSI B150A Gaming PRO Motherboard), i can see they're the same, except some few numbers, one of them being MHz in the top.
I don't seem to be able to change the settings that are different in BIOS, even though i can find the overview of the tCCD_L and tCL, etc. Don't know what it is either..

Sorry for the quality...

So have i wasted money on a very similar pair of RAM sticks? Or can it be fixed...

Thanks in advance!

Solution
Both Ram Modules seem to be the same. Instead of comparing all the values in ZMemory just look at the Model number: Both are "HX421C14FBK2/8" so they are the same model. Even more if you plug in 2 completely different models, most mainboards will not show problems and just use a configuration that both models support.

The Problem is most likely a faulty module, if one ram module has a problem or even the ram-slot. Test that by plugging in only one stick at a time in different Ram slots and run a memory test tool.

If going to windows shows bluescreens and problems just use a ubuntu-live cd, it has a memory test as startoption (memtest86+, http://askubuntu.com/questions/591488/how-do-i-run-memtest86/591502).

As said above run Memtest86 on one RAM stick at a time. Don't get your old and new modules mixed up (easy to do when testing). Put a small dot on the old modules with a sharpie marker.

Even RAM modules with the same part/model # may not work together, due to differences in the manufacturing process over time. Memory bought in a kit (2x4GB, 4X4GB, etc.) will have been tested together and proven to be compatible.
