Power led blinks,pc hangs

Im having this weird problem since 3 months, my pc used to hang suddenly
And my hdd led goes off so i thought my hdd was failing so i got a new one but this one is doing the same as the previous one is the problem with my hdd or anything else nd my power led rarely blinks i dont know why the f this happens
Specs

I3-2120 processor
6 gb ram
Motherboard:Gigabyte H61M-S1
GPU:nvidia zotac geforce gt 610

Hey there, Sushanth_2.

Backup your data, just as a precaution. After that go ahead and download the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic tool so that you can test it for errors and bad sectors. Once you've done that, if everything seems to be OK, I'd recommend that you give it a try with a different SATA port and cables, to see if the problem still persists.
You should also run a memory test, to see if your RAM has any faults.

I have being running the tests for past two.days last 2 days the results were 5n but today smart test has failed.just to cross verify i have run the smart test again this time it has passed . System works perfectly for 2-3 mins and suddenly hangs up.for 30.secs and my ram is working 5n i have checked it by inserting on to my friends system
