im planning of upgrading my gpu on my tc-705 pc. it currently has a GT 720 and i wonder if this is a integrated graphics card? i have read many topics and discussion that my pc is a pre-built pc and most pre-built pc have integrated graphics card and changing the integrated graphics card into different card would cause black screen or whatnot. so i was wondering if i can upgrade my gpu without any problems? Help!!
right now i'm planning of upgrading it into EVGA GTX 1060 SC 3gb about 6.8'' (could probably run on a 300 watt psu based on what youtuber tech deals said)
Specs are:
i5 4460 3.2 Ghz
8GB ram ddr3
H81 motherboard
300 psu
GT 720
Windows 10

It would be better if someone also has a same pc like mine. Thanks in advance

thanks man appreciated. I will probably change my psu for safety measures. Any recommendations? Mine is a haswell product so it might need a haswell-certified psu for it not to turn into black screen or something when I'm gaming

yeah 450w might be fine, this website by Nvidia themselves say that 400w is the bare minimum with the graphics card. http://www.geforce.co.uk/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-1060/specifications

I do believe you COULD use 300W with gtx 1060, it would definitely not be safe, especially as most PSUs with such little wattage tend to not have features like 80 Plus Efficiency, which I can assure you something like a gtx 1060 might need if you don't want a dangerous pc.

UPDATE: I have just realised I have failed to answer your 2nd question, if you want a reliable psu, go with anything that has 80 Plus efficiency, whether it be bronze or titanium, I personally use corsair because they are trusted, but others could include EVGA and BeQuiet.
