This is a bit of a long story:
In the beginning, I was having trouble with a game, Fallout 4. My problem was that every time I activated my Pip-Boy, my GPU would literally turn off. Both fans would stop spinning, and it would refuse to send any signal to either of my monitors. Eventually, this caused my GPU fans to refuse to spin even at start-up. I knew I had to fix this, so I partially uninstalled my graphics drivers, AMD by the way, and reinstalled them. After a ton of tinkering with MSi Afterburner, I finally got the fans to work properly again. No, I never fixed the Pip-Boy issue. I have something posted already that is asking for advice on how to fix that problem.
Shortly after this, I discovered that my monitor wasn't running at my overclocked 70 Hz anymore, and yes, I know I could probably have overclocked it a bit more. I attempted to use CRU to reset the refresh rates, however here, I noticed that it had saved my previously assigned clocks, 60, 65, 70 Hz... Therefore, I checked the "Screen Resolution" menu in Winodws 7 to see if my clocks were there, however they weren't. This finally made my realise that CRU wasn't adding the refresh rates to the "Screen Resolution" menu in Windows 7, no matter what I did. I tried running the driver patch named "atikmdag-patcher-1.4.4," however to no avail. Now, I'm here, out of ideas.
I have two monitors, Windows 7 recognises them individually, I'm using an RX 470 4GB, the monitor I'm trying to overclock is using a DVI-D cable, and I'm currently running AMD's latest Crimson Relive drivers.
