Hello all.

I want to start streaming but my current setup isn't powerful enough to handle my games and streaming at the same time (my current system is listed below).
Mostly I play games like Overwatch, Need for Speed, Counter-Strike and so on, but would like to play newer and more demanding titles as well.
When I play ex. Overwatch, my CPU usage is at around 70% and if I start my stream as well, it uses 99-100% and the stream seems to be lagging.

I would like to do one of the following:
- Upgrade my hardware, either go for a i5-6600k or a i7-6700k which I can get in a upgrade package from a local store (packages listed below).
- Buy a complete system used and setup this as a 2nd PC that I can use for streaming only (I went through several guides about this option and it seems to be a valid solution and possible for a lower price than the hardware upgrade).
- Wait for Ryzen and see if AM4 is the way to go.

Current hardware:
AMD FX-8150 OC'ed to 4.01 GHz
ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0
16 GB Corsair Vengeance
ASUS GeForce GTX 960, 2 GB

Upgrade package 1:
ASUS Z170-E - ATX / Z170
Intel Core i7-6700K
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16 (CMK16GX4M2A2666C16) (2x8GB)

Upgrade package 2:
ASUS Z170-P- ATX / Z170
Intel Core i5-6600K
Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16 (CMK8GX4M2A2666C16) (2x4GB)

Before I decide on anything, I want to ask if someone can help me with some advise on this.
If you have another idea how to achieve what I want, please do share.

Thanks in advance.

Solution
You can wait if you wish the first relases was supposed to be quarter 4 of last year.
The i7 for the hypertreading although the i5 would be better than you have.

Get the i7 and the 16gb of memory for streaming. You will be glad you did.
After all the hype I can see Zen being anouther flop just like their last 2 releases and really don't look for it to be out before July. AmD has already pushed the release date back once.

For what I understand then the Ryzen should come out on March 2nd. If it does or not, I can't say but wouldn't it be smart to at least give it till a little after that and see?
Also, why the i7 over the i5? I know that package comes with 16GB RAM and the i5 comes with 8GB but I can buy another 8GB RAM for the i5 and it will still be a lot cheaper.
