So I'm about to buy my GTX 1060 in a couple days and it just came to me that my fx 8150 would bottleneck it. how much would it bottleneck? I could get a 3gb 1060 with a Pentium g4560 if that would be a better option.Keep in mind my PC right now has a gt 210 and I'm playing on an Xbox one so I just want 1080p 60fps in Black ops 3, Battlefield 1, Ark Survival evolved, and GTA 5.

Solution
Yes, the 8150 will bottleneck, and how badly will depend on the game. If you were building new I would recommend the G4560 over any currently available FX CPU. But given that you already have an 8150, I'm not sure if the G4560 would be good enough to justify the cost of a whole new platform (CPU + mobo + RAM). I would wait until AMDs new Ryzen CPUs come out (should be in the next couple weeks), and save up until you can at least get an i5 (or Ryzen equivalent) CPU.

The bottleneck from the pentium will be significantly more than the 8150. Yes, the 8150 will bottleneck, but not to the point where you will struggle to hit 60 fps. Its not an optimal choice but its not going to make a significant difference.
