Hi, i have these errors on my crystal disk for my second drive, All important data was backed up so no worries. Can i fix this? and is it slowing down my system? (OS is not installed on that drive)

Hi there TheWakeman,

Sorry that you are facing some issues with your WD drive. :(

You need to back up the data stored on the drive until you sort this out. Once you do that, you can run both short and extended DLG tests as Emerald suggested: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=

It looks like there are some weak sectors on the drive. Sometimes, writing zeros could help in similar cases. (DLG) This would fill in 0 value in each sector. The data would be unrecoverable so back it up first. Then, you can re test the drive and see if you will get different results.

So i got this error but the S.M.A.R.T status for both says "passed"
Also, any idea why my 1tb drive says i only got 500gb? and what can i do to get the other 500?
