Is my pc safe if I have a psu that is slightly under the recommended amount of W?

I have a gpu that recommends a 300W psu but mine is 280W, would it be safe to install the gpu? The gpu I have is a gigabyte gtx 1050ti.

so long as the GTX1050ti is not one of those overclocked versions that need 6 pin aux power, you should be ok.
The max power draw from the pcie slot only will be 75w.
