Could I run 2560x1440?

Hello I'm fairly new to computing gaming but I bought a rig recently and I'm wondering if I can run this screen resolution.
I'm looking at buying a 27" monitor with G-sync and wondering if I can run this?
I have
I7-7700 CPU
GTX 1060 6GB
450 watt

Unrelated to the resolution but a 450w power supply is cutting it pretty close. Most games you should have no trouble at 1440p may have to play with AA/filtering in some cases but it ought to be fine

Nah, a quality 450w power supply is fine for that system. Operative word there is quality.

Yeah a 1060 will do 1440p with lowered settings.

RealHardTechX even recommends 450w and they overstate enough to account for lower quality units and or overclocking. As long as you use something decent you can almost always subtract 50-100 watts from their recommendations. ( I don't tell most people that though
