I was planning on getting the i5 6600K with a Asus Strix H270F, is it only capable of supporting 2133MHz ram or am I able to use 2400 or possibly higher MHz of ram?

the problem is pcpartpicker doesn't factor in taxes and shipping costs which can jack up the price

also I have herd somewhere that you have to go into the bios and enable one of the XMP profiles but the H270 chipset is supposed to support 2400,mhz ram

With a 7XXX processor not a 6XXX.
Don't buy a board for the looks get a proper board.
If your going to buy a H 270 board then get the i5 7600 same performance since you not overclocking and comes with a CPU cooler for a lower price.
Not a clue what you mean buy not factoring shipping cost it's free shipping on both Amazon and Newegg (the only 2 places you should be buying from) if your not in a state where newegg has a warehouse they are no sales tax.
