So I recently decided to upgrade my 5 year old mini-itx build for something that packs more of a punch with the latest parts.

The part list is here:

The problem I'm having lies with the gtx 1060. My first 1060 sounded like a wind tunnel after start up when the drivers were installed. Second gtx same issue but only after I launched a game.

I've done my research and tried everything that I could. Tried a new card, reseating it, uninstalling the drivers with ddu, and nothing.

Talked to a brain dead Asus representative and they mentioned that the motherboard is incompatible with the graphics card which I find hard to believe because that's the most popular mini-itx motherboard made by Asus alongside with a GPU that's manufactured by Nvidia/Asus. Not to mention the Gtx 10XX is the most popular GPU to date.

Am I doing something wrong on my end? Any suggestions for a quick fix, everything I bought is still returnable.

GPU is getting proper airflow with and without the two additional fans. I have the two additional fans currently across blowing air into the case. Will Trixx override everything? Currently I'm not even getting readings on the GPU tweak software.
