Hello, I'm kinda new here, and I was wondering if anyone here could help me with a question.

So I know that the Xbox360 controller has proprietary drivers, but I saw on a forum somewhere that there were some drivers I could install to my wireless adapter to make it function as a reciever for the controller, but render it useless otherwise.
I just so happen to have a USB wireless dongle that comes with an installation disk, and i wondered if I could install this mythical 360 driver into that wireless adapter and make it into a reciever on this PC.

Also, if anyone could point me in the right direction on going about this, such as how to find these drivers and whatnot that would be great.

I use the wireless XBox 360 gamepad on Windows 10 (since 7) via the wireles adapter for Windows. I don't remember any driver to install. It installs itself over USB by just plugging it in.

Btw we are talking about same wireless adapter official version from Microsoft?

No no, I have an image here. What I mean is a program that installs drivers into your wireless adapter, and it allows the controller to connect without spending money on the dongle from Microsoft.

I just want to find what this guy is talking about.
